Alex Ballard is an attorney at Arias Sanguinetti, and his legal career has been dedicated to fighting on behalf of individuals. Since joining the firm as a law clerk in 2022, Alex has made significant contributions to the firm’s cases and clients, especially in civil rights and complex matters.
Alex graduated from Chapman University with B.A. degrees magna cum laude in Economics, History, and Political Science. Alex earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law in 2023. As a dedicated member of the legal community, Alex has served as a volunteer for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Volunteer Education Advocate Program in which he served as a court-appointed educational decision maker for foster youth with disabilities. As a law student, he also argued before the Nevada Court of Appeals and won a pro bono appellate case.
Alex’s practice focuses on civil rights and mass tort cases. His caseload includes litigation against law enforcement agencies and correctional facilities for violations of his clients’ constitutional rights. Alex also works on several mass torts cases, spanning from sexual assault to employment discrimination to wildfires.
When not practicing law, Alex enjoys spending time with his dog Dakota, completing escape rooms, and reading autobiographies.
