Sahar Malek

Sahar Malek is a partner at Arias Sanguinetti Wang & Team LLP, based in the firm’s Southern California office. She is an accomplished trial attorney who handles personal injury, sexual abuse and assault, and employment cases. Sahar has been pivotal in obtaining numerous six-figure and seven-figure settlements and verdicts for her clients.

For her advocacy and her leadership within the legal community, Sahar has been named to California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year (CLAY) by the Daily Journal. She has also been selected and recognized as a Super Lawyer and a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Sahar serves on the Board of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), and is an active member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ).

Before joining the firm, Sahar founded and operated a boutique solo practice headquartered in Beverly Hills where she represented hundreds of clients who sustained injuries and damages as a result of the wrongful conduct of others. She is a passionate and dedicated advocate for her clients.

Many of the people she represents come from marginalized communities and backgrounds, and Sahar’s personal experience of immigrating to the United States as a child allows her to intimately understand the discrimination and challenges that they face. This empathy informs her legal practice and enables her to build meaningful relationships with clients that are rooted in trust. Sahar empowers her clients through compassionate counsel and relentless advocacy on their behalf.

• $828 million historic settlement on behalf of 414 survivors of sexual abuse in Los Angeles County’s juvenile detention and foster care systems. Represents the largest per-survivor recovery in a sexual abuse case in U.S. history, with an average of $2 million per individual.
• $1.75 million settlement in a personal injury case for single-person motor vehicle collision.
• $1.25 million settlement in motor vehicle collision case.
• $1 million settlement in a motor vehicle collision case.
• $700,000 settlement in a personal injury case for a motor vehicle collision.
