Nia Gamble
Nia Gamble is an Associate at Arias Sanguinetti Trial Lawyers in the Southern California office, where she represents clients in personal injury, auto accident, premises liability, and sexual assault litigation. She is known for her strong litigation instincts, client-focused approach, and commitment to helping individuals navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She believes every client deserves an advocate who communicates openly, builds trust, and never loses sight of the human story behind the case.
Prior to joining Arias Sanguinetti, Nia managed a diverse litigation caseload from intake through resolution, representing clients in a wide range of personal injury and civil matters. Her work resulted in impactful recoveries for injured clients, including a $1.9 million recovery in a significant personal injury matter. Her experience includes drafting and arguing motions, conducting discovery, negotiating settlements, and guiding clients through every stage of litigation.
Nia chose plaintiff-side litigation because she was inspired by the opportunity to stand beside everyday people against powerful insurance companies and corporations. Early in her career, she recognized that meaningful legal representation can help restore stability and give clients a voice during one of the most challenging times in their lives. Her legal foundation was shaped through a variety of legal fellowships and internships, including positions with Legal Access Alameda, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Palo Alto Superior Court. These experiences exposed her to multiple areas of the legal system while reinforcing that her passion lies in advocating for individuals rather than institutions.
Dedicated to professional growth and trial advocacy, Nia is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) New Lawyers Committee and Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC). She is a graduate of both the 2024 CAALA Plaintiff Trial Academy and the Los Angeles American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Jack Daniels Trial Skills Advocacy Program, reflecting her commitment to continually strengthening her courtroom skills. She also hopes to contribute to the profession through legal writing and publication, particularly within CAALA and CAOC.
Before beginning her legal career, Nia pursued a path in education. She worked in urban classrooms in Detroit, later taught abroad in Spain, and continued tutoring students through literacy programs before ultimately returning to her lifelong goal of becoming an attorney. Those experiences strengthened her communication skills, reinforced her belief in meeting people where they are, and continue to influence how she educates and empowers clients today.
Fluent in Spanish, Nia has studied and lived abroad in both Spain and the Dominican Republic, experiences that continue to shape her cultural awareness and ability to connect with diverse communities. Nia is deeply committed to community involvement and service. She serves on the Board of Directors for Miracle League Los Angeles, an adaptive baseball organization serving children and adults with disabilities. She is also passionate about mentorship, particularly supporting aspiring attorneys, young lawyers, and increasing representation within the legal profession.
She earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she received the Chancellor’s Scholarship, served as Secretary of the Black Law Students Association, and competed in the Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Spelman College and studied abroad at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. She is active in both schools’ alumni associations.
Outside the office, Nia enjoys boxing, fitness, attending live concerts, collecting vinyl records, traveling, and spending time with her two playful kittens. Loved ones describe her as adventurous and always ready for her next challenge — qualities that carry into both her personal life and legal career.
