Donna Maryanski
Donna M. Maryanski is Senior Trial Counsel at Arias Sanguinetti Trial Lawyers, in the Southern California office. Since beginning her legal career, Donna has tried 125 cases throughout California, building a reputation for excellence in personal injury, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, traumatic brain injury, sexual abuse, employment law, trucking accidents, and complex liability matters.
Her trial experience spans virtually every type of serious injury case, including her most recent achievement of an $893,500 hard-fought and contentious jury verdict for our client involved in a rear-end accident in stop-and-go traffic. Her practice area focus includes catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, wrongful termination claims, discrimination matters, sexual abuse, trucking collisions, and motor vehicle accidents. Throughout her career, Donna has remained focused on helping individuals and families navigate some of the most difficult and life-changing circumstances they will ever face.
Donna is a Diplomate Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), one of the highest ranked women in one of the most prestigious organizations in the legal profession. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles Chapter and is Co-Chair of ABOTA’s Civility Matters initiative, which promotes professionalism and ethical advocacy throughout the legal community. She also serves as faculty for the highly respected ABOTA Jack Daniels Trial Academy, where she helps train and mentor trial lawyers from across the country.
A passionate educator, Donna has spent decades teaching trial advocacy and litigation skills. She has presented for ABOTA’s Masters in Trial program, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles seminars, Law Di Gras, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and numerous other legal education programs. Her presentations have covered topics including voir dire, cross-examination, expert witness strategy, handling medical liens, biomechanics experts, closing arguments, and trial preparation. She also chaired and presented at the California and Arizona Trial Academy for State Farm attorneys for more than eight years.
Donna’s professional excellence has earned her the AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest distinction for legal ability and ethical standards. She is also a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial School and Advanced Program, one of the nation’s most respected trial advocacy programs. She earned her J.D. at Western State College of Law.
Beyond her legal practice, Donna remains committed to community service and mentorship. She serves as a volunteer mediator through the Los Angeles Superior Court and mentors students through programs at Cabrillo High School and McBride High School. Outside the courtroom, she is an accomplished glass artist, gourmet chef, and wine enthusiast whose creativity and curiosity continue to shape her approach to life and advocacy.
