Monica La
Monica La is an Associate at Arias Sanguinetti Trial Lawyers in the Northern California office. She represents clients in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights, consumer protection, and mass tort litigation matters. Her practice is focused on helping individuals and families navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives while pursuing accountability from those responsible for causing harm.
Monica represents clients in a wide range of complex matters, including vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle collisions, premises liability cases, rideshare incidents, mass casualty events, wrongful death claims, and other catastrophic injury matters. Her experience in both state and federal courts allows her to advocate effectively for clients facing serious and life-changing circumstances.
Deeply committed to helping those in their greatest time of need, Monica approaches every case with the belief that legal representation is more than a profession. She is particularly passionate about creating space for individuals who often feel overlooked or marginalized and helping ensure that every client feels heard, respected, and supported throughout the legal process.
Monica’s dedication to advocacy and professional excellence has earned recognition within the legal profession. Prior to law school after accepting a personal injury internship, she discovered a passion for representing injured individuals and has remained committed to plaintiff-side litigation throughout her legal career. That early experience confirmed her desire to help people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives while pursuing accountability on their behalf
Through both her legal practice and community outreach efforts, Monica remains committed to expanding access to justice and making a meaningful impact in the lives of the individuals and families she serves. She is an active member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association (SFTLA).
Fluent in Cantonese, her language skills and cultural understanding allow her to provide accessible legal guidance while building meaningful trust with the communities she serves. Outside of her practice, Monica enjoys Pilates, attending ballet performances, and remains connected to dance after training as a ballerina for many years.
