Karina Villa
Karina Villa is an Associate at Arias Sanguinetti Wang & Team LLP, based in the firm’s Southern California office. She represents plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death cases.
Known for her thoughtful, strategic approach to litigation, she navigates complex cases with precision and composure. She manages matters from inception through trial, including developing case strategy, conducting discovery, preparing and opposing motions, and advocating for clients in court. Her ability to remain focused in high-pressure environments enables her to effectively advance her clients’ interests while maintaining a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
She began developing her litigation skills during law school, working at firms handling personal injury, civil rights, and employment matters. These experiences shaped her analytical abilities and commitment to client advocacy. She earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she served as Production Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review and mentored high school students through the Young Lawyers Program. She also competed in the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition, advancing to the quarterfinals.
She received her undergraduate degrees, cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine, earning a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in International Studies, along with a minor in Conflict Resolution.
Combining strong technical litigation skills with sound judgment, she approaches each case with discipline, focus, and a commitment to results. She understands the personal impact litigation can have on her clients and is committed to guiding them through the process with clarity, responsiveness, and care while advocating effectively on their behalf.
