Karina Villa

Karina A. Villa is an Associate at Arias Sanguinetti Trial Lawyers in the Southern California office, where she represents plaintiffs in personal injury, motor vehicle accident, premises liability, and wrongful death matters. She is known for her ability to build trust with clients through clear communication, genuine compassion, and practical guidance.
Throughout her practice, Karina has become known for helping clients feel comfortable sharing their stories during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. She approaches every case with careful preparation, emotional intelligence, and an ability to recognize the individual needs of each client. Fluent in Spanish, she also serves as an important resource for helping bridge language and cultural barriers while ensuring they fully understand every stage of the legal process. Her litigation skills were developed through experiences handling personal injury, civil rights, and employment matters. These opportunities strengthened her analytical abilities, sharpened her litigation instincts, and reinforced her commitment to helping individuals seek accountability and justice through the legal system.

Karina’s passion for advocacy began as a child. She found herself speaking up whenever something felt unfair, particularly when someone else needed support. Those instincts ultimately led her to the legal profession, where she discovered that plaintiff advocacy combined everything she valued most: standing up for others, solving problems, and helping people through some of life’s most difficult moments. During law school, she intentionally attended networking events, bar association programs, and legal community gatherings whenever possible, recognizing that relationships are built through consistency and showing up. Those experiences continue to shape her passion for mentoring first-generation college students, law students, and aspiring attorneys.

She earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School. She also earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and International Studies from the University of California, Irvine, graduating cum laude, along with a minor in Conflict Resolution. While attending law school, she served as Production Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review, mentored high school students through the Young Lawyers Program, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition. She is active in the American Association for Justice (AAJ), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA).

Outside the office, Karina enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She equally appreciates quiet moments of independence, a balance that allows her to connect comfortably with people from all walks of life. Whether encouraging someone with a genuine compliment, helping a stranger bridge a language barrier, or simply bringing positivity into everyday interactions, she believes small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.
