Daniel Montalvo

Daniel Montalvo is an Accounts Payable Clerk at Arias Sanguinetti Trial Lawyers, based in the firm’s Southern California office. As a member of the Finance Department, he supports the day-to-day financial operations that help the firm and its teams work efficiently. With more than seven years of accounting and operations experience, Daniel brings an organized, thoughtful approach to responsibilities that require accuracy, coordination and consistent follow-through.

Before joining Arias Sanguinetti, Daniel served as Accounting & Operations Manager at the Berggruen Institute, where his work extended beyond accounting into the broader operations of the organization. Working across departments, he managed financial responsibilities, vendor relationships and operational needs while helping colleagues resolve issues and keep projects moving. The experience strengthened his ability to balance detail-oriented work with an understanding of how his responsibilities affect the people and teams around him.

Earlier roles in property management, retail operations and customer service further shaped that perspective. His professional path even included time with Nintendo of America, where he provided bilingual English and Spanish technical support, helping customers troubleshoot problems and find solutions. Through his various experiences, Daniel learned how to communicate with people from different backgrounds, manage competing priorities, and remain solutions-oriented when challenges arise.

He studied Early Childhood Bilingual Education at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, formerly the University of Texas at Brownsville. His educational background reflects an early interest in communication and working with others that continues to complement the financial and operational experience he has developed throughout his career.

Daniel approaches his work with the understanding that strong financial operations ultimately support the people doing the firm’s work. He values being someone his colleagues can rely on, communicating clearly when questions arise and helping find solutions that keep work moving forward.
