Founding Partners Mike Arias and Elise Sanguinetti were both recognized by the Daily Journal as being among the Top 38 Plaintiff Attorneys in California.
This is the third time Mr. Arias has been honored with this award and the second time for Ms. Sanguinetti.
The list of the top plaintiff attorneys in the state recognized both attorneys for major accomplishments in the last 12 months.
- Mr. Arias was co-liaison counsel for the plaintiffs in obtaining the largest known settlement in a sexual abuse case in U.S. history, as well as the largest known personal injury settlement against a university. The $852,000,000 settlement is on behalf of over 700 former USC students alleging sexual abuse by USC OB/GYN George Tyndall. The 710 plaintiffs will be entitled to an average recovery of $1.2 million.
- Ms. Sanguinetti obtained a $1.37 million verdict to a woman who suffered serious injuries as the result of a college student’s negligence. This case was unique in that it was an entirely virtual trial that took place in Alameda County Superior Court.
