Jamie Goldstein
Jamie Goldstein is a partner at Arias Sanguinetti Wang & Team LLP, based in the firm’s Bay Area office. She brings two decades of experience advocating for justice in the areas of wrongful death, personal injury, civil rights, medical malpractice, product liability, and mass torts. She has handled numerous complex, high-stakes cases and secured multi-million dollar verdicts on behalf of her clients.
A powerful trial lawyer with a deep understanding of medical and legal complexities, Jamie has been recognized by the Daily Journal for securing one of the Top Verdicts of 2024 alongside partner Elise Sanguinetti. They represented Angel Aguirre, a stagehand who suffered catastrophic injuries during the Rolling Loud Festival in Oakland. The case resulted in an $8.29 million jury verdict against AEG Management Oakland, LLC and Tommy Harman.
In addition to her trial work, Jamie is a dedicated advocate for incarcerated individuals and their families. She has appeared in media outlets, such as KSBW 8 News, to speak out about high death rates in jails and litigation against jail healthcare providers. She represents families whose loved ones died due to inadequate medical and mental health care while in custody. Jamie’s civil rights work continues to drive reform and accountability within the justice system.
Her commitment to the legal profession extends beyond the courtroom. Jamie serves in numerous leadership roles within national and state legal organizations. She has been a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) since 2006, where she has served as Rideshare Litigation Group Chair (present), State Delegate (2019–present), Chair-Elect and Chair of the State Delegates (2020–2022), and on the Executive Committee (2021–2022). She is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), serving on the Board of Directors since 2015, and holding several leadership positions within the CAOC Women’s Caucus, including Education Chair, Political Chair, and Secretary. Her additional memberships include the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Public Justice Foundation, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
