Sierra Lewis
Sierra Lewis is a Mass Action Legal Assistant at Arias Sanguinetti Trial Lawyers, based in the firm’s Southern California office. She supports attorneys and litigation teams handling complex mass action and personal injury matters, bringing an organized, efficient, and client-centered approach to high-volume litigation.
She has experience working on some of the firm’s most significant mass litigation matters, including supporting the legal team that secured an $828 million settlement on behalf of more than 400 survivors of sexual abuse in Los Angeles County’s juvenile detention and foster care systems. The landmark result represents one of the highest average per-plaintiff recoveries achieved in a sexual abuse case against a government entity, underscoring the impact of coordinated litigation and dedicated client advocacy.
Sierra is particularly skilled at the demands of mass action litigation, where hundreds of clients may be moving through the same stage of a case while each brings a different experience, communication style, and need for information. She approaches that complexity like a puzzle: organizing large volumes of information, prioritizing what matters most, adapting communication to the individual, and remaining reliable in fast-moving cases. In sensitive matters, including sexual abuse litigation, she believes effective client support requires both compassion and steadiness – giving clients room to feel what they feel while helping provide the facts, clarity, and structure needed to move the case forward.
Prior to joining Arias Sanguinetti, she served in case management roles with national plaintiff law firms and worked alongside local courts and probation departments administering court-ordered compliance programs. Sierra is known for her organization, efficiency, resilience, reliability, and willingness to take on large challenges. A recent speaker at the 2026 CAALA Vegas Conference, she is comfortable sharing practical lessons from her work through professional and public-speaking opportunities. She is an active member of Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA).
Her path to plaintiff-side law began with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Olivet Nazarene University and an early interest in working within the legal system. After considering law enforcement, Sierra found a stronger fit in plaintiff law, where the work was centered on helping people navigate situations they had never faced before. She was drawn to the opportunity to serve as a bridge for clients who had been injured or wronged and needed both guidance and a path forward. Sierra believes that in order to be able to help her clients within the office, she must help herself outside of the office. Sierra prioritizes her mental and physical health by maintaining an active lifestyle year-round. She is an avid outdoors enthusiast who enjoys the gym, surfing, scuba diving, hiking, snowboarding, and deep-sea fishing.
