Leslie Ochoa

Leslie Ochoa is a part-time Legal Assistant and Marketing Assistant at Arias Sanguinetti Trial Lawyers, based in the firm’s Southern California office. Working across both the legal and marketing functions of the firm, she supports the day-to-day needs of attorneys and staff while also assisting with initiatives that help communicate the firm’s work, people, and presence in the community.

She began her time at Arias Sanguinetti as an intern in 2023. Through that experience, she gained exposure to the operations of a plaintiffs’ law firm and developed an understanding of the administrative support required behind the firm’s legal work. As her experience grew, so did her responsibilities, eventually leading to her current dual role supporting both the legal and marketing teams.

As a Legal Assistant, Leslie helps with the organization and administrative coordination that allow attorneys and legal teams to stay focused on their cases. Her role gives her practical exposure to the legal profession while allowing her to continue developing her understanding of how cases, clients, attorneys, and support professionals come together within a law firm.

Her work as a Marketing Assistant gives Leslie a different perspective on that same organization. She helps support projects that communicate the firm’s work and culture to audiences outside the day-to-day legal practice. Working between the two departments allows her to see both how the firm’s work gets done and how its people, accomplishments, and values are communicated to clients, colleagues, and the broader community.

That combination makes Leslie’s experience at Arias Sanguinetti particularly unique. Rather than developing within a single department, she has had the opportunity to learn how different functions of a law firm depend on one another. Her progression from intern to a dual legal and marketing support role reflects her willingness to learn, versatility, and ability to contribute wherever support is needed.

Leslie is studying Criminal Law at Long Beach City College. She also has professional working proficiency in Spanish, adding to her ability to communicate with and support the diverse individuals and communities the firm serves.
