Bryan Tamayo
Bryan Tamayo is a Legal Assistant at Arias Sanguinetti Trial Lawyers, based in the firm’s Nevada office. With several years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury and civil litigation, Bryan supports attorneys throughout the litigation process, including discovery, legal drafting, court filings, deposition coordination, medical records, trial preparation, and case management. Fluent in Spanish, he also brings significant client-facing experience and helps ensure clients remain informed and connected to their legal team.
His connection to the legal field began long before his professional career. He considered becoming an attorney from a young age and describes himself as someone who has always been comfortable arguing a point and thinking on his feet. His first professional exposure to the field came as a teenager, when his sister helped him secure part-time summer work at a law firm. The experience introduced him to the day-to-day environment of legal practice and confirmed his interest in the field.
Before joining Arias Sanguinetti, Bryan worked in litigation support roles at law firms in Las Vegas, gaining experience in both pre-litigation and active litigation matters. His background includes supporting attorneys with motor vehicle collision, medical malpractice, premises liability, and other personal injury claims. He has managed matters from their early stages, communicated regularly with clients, coordinated medical treatment and records, and assisted with the discovery process.
Bryan also brings hands-on experience supporting civil litigation in both Nevada state and federal courts. His work has included drafting pleadings and discovery, preparing Nevada Rule of Civil Procedure disclosures, e-filing court documents, coordinating depositions, requesting medical records, and assisting attorneys with trial preparation, including witness interviews and exhibit organization.
An important part of Bryan’s approach is communication. In a previous client liaison role, he served as a connection between attorneys, clients, medical experts, and insurance providers while helping resolve client concerns and translating communications for Spanish-speaking clients. Bryan also brings a systems-oriented mindset to his work. He naturally looks for processes that are not working as efficiently as they could and thinks about how they can be improved. That interest extends beyond law. He has studied computer engineering and has long been interested in numbers, technology, and problem-solving. The experience reinforced a way of thinking that continues to influence him — understand how something works, identify where it breaks down, and find a more efficient way forward.
Bryan earned his Associate of Arts from the College of Southern Nevada through a program that allowed him to complete college coursework while still in high school. He later completed an 18-month Paralegal Studies program at Northwest Career College. Creativity is another important part of Bryan’s personality. He enjoys fashion, gaming, painting, and hands-on creative projects and has even 3D printed and painted his own Dungeons & Dragons models.
