Adam Schwartz
Adam Schwartz is a Mass Action Legal Assistant at Arias Sanguinetti Trial Lawyers, based in the firm’s Nevada office. He supports attorneys handling complex mass action and wildfire litigation, including matters arising from the Maui and Eaton fires. In his current role, Adam works directly with clients, helps manage case information and data collection, conducts legal research, and supports the many moving pieces required to advance large-scale litigation.
A significant part of Adam’s role is helping individuals navigate a legal process that can be unfamiliar and complex after experiencing a catastrophic event. He maintains regular communication with clients, helps them understand what is needed as their claims progress, and works alongside attorneys and other members of the mass action team as cases move toward resolution. Adam began his career at Arias Sanguinetti as a Legal Fellow after graduating from Chapman University. He had been interested in becoming an attorney for years and viewed the fellowship as an opportunity to spend time working inside a law firm before law school. What began as an opportunity to gain exposure to the profession quickly became the foundation for much of what he now understands about litigation. During his fellowship, Adam supported attorneys handling medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury matters across California and Nevada. His work included legal research, deposition summaries, discovery materials, pleadings, and observing hearings and depositions. Just as importantly, he learned directly from attorneys, law clerks, and other legal professionals who helped him understand both the practical realities of litigation and what to expect from law school and a future legal career.
His work on wildfire litigation became a particularly important period of professional growth. Working in this area has required learning quickly, communicating directly with clients, taking responsibility for unfamiliar assignments, and becoming comfortable acting without having every possible scenario mapped out in advance. Adam describes that experience as a form of professional “exposure therapy.” By deliberately taking on a more client-facing role, he became increasingly comfortable navigating conversations where he might not know every answer at the outset.
Before joining Arias Sanguinetti, Adam gained experience in political communications and public policy research, where he analyzed statewide ballot initiatives, monitored legislative developments, and helped develop educational materials explaining complex issues to broader audiences. That work strengthened the research, writing, and analytical skills he now applies in the legal environment. Adam’s academic background also reflects the range of interests he hopes to continue exploring throughout his legal career. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from Chapman University, with an emphasis in Real Estate as part of his business degree. His interest in business, transactional work, and real estate law remains alongside the interest in personal injury and litigation he developed through his experience at Arias Sanguinetti. He plans to pursue law school and has considered eventually combining his legal education with his business background. Outside of work, Adam enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, and spending time with his dog.
