Senior Associate Travis M. Daniels has obtained a $10 million judgment in a wrongful death and injury case on behalf of two minor boys who tragically lost their mother after her vehicle was involved in a fatal drunk driving collision in 2020.
In addition to the civil lawsuit handled by Arias Sanguinetti, a criminal proceeding took place in 2021 and the defendant was convicted of felony DUI and is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence for her actions.
“While this judgment may bring an end to the lengthy litigation process, there is still no amount of money that can ever make up for the tragic and preventable loss of the boys’ mother,” said Attorney Daniels. “But I do hope this judgment provides some measure of justice and closure for the family, while also sending a strong message that driving while intoxicated is a significant problem in the State of California that simply will not be tolerated.”
Travis M. Daniels has over 10 years of experience fighting for the rights of personal injury and sexual assault survivors and their families. This multi-million-dollar award demonstrates his uncompromising advocacy on behalf of those harmed by the negligent actions of others.
