Mike Arias was named one of the Top 100 Attorneys in California by the Los Angeles Daily Journal. Mike, who was named to the list for the first time, was honored for his cutting-edge legal work over the past year and his leadership within the legal community. Mike is Immediate Past-President of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and current President of Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC). He’s the first in history to serve concurrent presidencies.
The Daily Journal wrote Mr. Arias “spends much of his time helping people who are in some way disenfranchised.” The profile highlighted his work representing over 160 women who are survivors of sexual misconduct at the hands of disgraced USC gynecologist George Tyndall. Mr. Arias was also honored for helping CAOC draft legislation that would change the statute of limitations given to assault survivors to report crimes.
