Douglas Younglove
Douglas Younglove is Trial Counsel at Arias Sanguinetti Wang & Team LLP, based in the firm’s Southern California office. He represents plaintiffs in serious personal injury, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury matters, with more than 35 years of civil trial experience.
Known for his commanding presence in the courtroom and his unwavering commitment to his clients, he brings a decisive, results-driven approach to every case he handles. Douglas manages matters from inception through trial, including developing case strategy, conducting discovery, preparing and opposing motions, and advocating for clients in court. His decades of experience across both civil and criminal litigation give him a rare ability to anticipate opposing strategies and respond with precision.
He began his career at a prominent plaintiff-side personal injury firm, where he tried more than 20 cases to verdict in his first decade of practice. He subsequently served as a prosecutor at the District Attorney’s Office. Over his career, Doug has secured verdicts and settlements in personal injury and criminal defense matters. He has since devoted his practice to representing individuals who have been seriously or catastrophically injured due to another’s negligence or wrongdoing, totaling millions of dollars on behalf of clients.
Douglas earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego, where he received the highest academic achievement award in Criminal Law. This honor led to his appointment as a student instructor for incoming classes. He also competed in California Western’s nationally recognized Mock Trial program. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
