David Belasco
Mr. Belasco’s areas of expertise include various areas of manufacturing and product design with particular emphasis in computer systems hardware and software development as well as plastics and packaging technology. His areas of practice include patent prosecution, trademark and copyright matters, licensing and related litigation. He is fluent in French. Mr. Belasco has been involved in major litigation involving patents, trademarks and copyrights relating to the lighting industry. This litigation has involved recent changes in Trademark law and has been appealed to the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a co-author of an article, published in The Daily Journal, regarding interpretation of these changes in the law. For 7 years prior to forming Belasco Jacobs & Townsley, LLP, Mr. Belasco was an associate with the law firm of Beehler and Pavitt.
