Our mission is simple: to fight for people who have been hurt, silenced, or taken advantage of โ and to help them get the justice and financial compensation they deserve.
Weโve seen firsthand the profound impact that justice and financial compensation can have for those we represent. We are relentless in pursuit of what is right for our clients. From the moment a case begins, they are no longer fighting alone โ their fight becomes ours.
What We Do
We help people who have been hurt get financial compensation for their injuries. Sometimes those injuries are physical, like after a car malfunction leads to a crash. Sometimes theyโre psychological and traumatic, as in a sexual assault case.
Beyond simply getting compensation for our clients, we make sure the people, companies, and institutions responsible for causing harm are held accountable. Doing so not only brings a deeper sense of justice for our clients, but also can help prevent the same harm from happening to others.
You can arrest a perpetrator, but you canโt arrest the hospital whose unsafe policies allowed abuse to happen or the corporation whose cost-cutting created dangerous conditions. When negligence happens on an institutional level โ in hospitals, school districts, large corporations, or government agencies โ financial accountability is often the only way to force real change.
We know how to hit powerful corporations where it hurts. When we pursue justice for a client, weโre not only improving that clientโs life โ weโre driving societal progress, forcing these defendants to reform their practices and prevent the same harm from happening again.
Who We Help
Our clients are as diverse as our team โ coming from every walk of life, every background, and every financial situation. Our diverse team of multicultural lawyers โ fluent in Spanish, Russian, Farsi, and Chinese โ gives us a unique advantage in serving the diverse communities of California and beyond.
We believe justice should never depend on the size of a clientโs bank account. Because we only get paid if we win, anyone โ regardless of income or resources โ can have powerful legal representation.
This commitment has allowed us to profoundly change the lives of people who might never have been able to afford to take legal action on their own.
Who We Are
We are a nationally recognized firm with a record of winning justice for our clients that stretches back to the 1980s.
With more than $1.5 billion recovered for clients, we have earned broad recognition from our peers โ placing us among the nationโs most highly decorated firms.
Our 300+ years of combined experience is reinforced by leadership at the highest levels of the legal profession, including serving as Presidents of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) โ the nationโs largest organization of trial lawyers โ and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), one of the most influential trial lawyer groups in the country. Few firms have even one past president of such organizations โ ours has held that role three times, a rare distinction that reflects the trust of our peers and is a source of great pride.
For clients, this means access to attorneys who help shape the standards of trial practice nationwide and bring that influence and insight directly into their cases. Many of our attorneys are also sought-after educators, frequently leading courses and speaking at major legal conferences.
Our history is filled with victories against the nationโs most powerful defendants, achieved not through deeper pockets or hidden tricks, but through skill, experience, and an unwavering commitment to our clients โ always with the truth on our side.
Who We Arenโt
Whatโs the #1 reason many injured people choose to carry the burden of their injuries alone instead of taking legal action? Itโs the stigma that insurance companies and powerful corporate defendants have created around filing lawsuits.
These corporations have managed to convince millions of people that pursuing financial compensation when they are injured through little or no fault of their own is somehow selfish and greedy. This narrative is a fiction designed to protect corporate profits.
We take deep pride in standing with people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. We are not here to profit off peopleโs suffering โ we are here to advocate for those who need a voice.

How We Choose Our Cases
We are trial lawyers, which means we prepare every case as if it will go to trial. We donโt accept every case because we prioritize quality of representation over quantity of clients โ our priority is always the clients we already represent.
When we accept a case, that client is generally likely to achieve a far greater financial recovery than if represented by a firm that accepts a higher volume of cases. Our selective approach allows us to dedicate the kind of resources that can create the truly life changing results weโve become known for in the legal community.
Insurance companies and other corporate defendants know our name and our track record โ it’s a financial risk for them to proceed to trial against us. Therefore, they are generally more eager to negotiate settlements if weโre involved.
In Our Community
At Arias Sanguinetti, we are deeply committed to our community, not only through exceptional legal representation but also by supporting local organizations that promote growth, development, and well-being. Our staffโs involvement spans several prominent community initiatives, including the Westchester Family YMCA, the Westchester Playa Del Rey Youth Foundation, and the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce, where we help drive their missions forward.
We were particularly proud of our firm’s role in assisting with the recovery efforts for those impacted by wildfires. Deeply moved by the devastation in Lahaina, Maui Wildfires in 2023 Managing Partner Mike Arias led a team of trial lawyers to raise funds for immediate relief in partnership with organizations like the Hawaii Association for Justice and the AAJ. Donations supported Maui Strong โ Hawaii Community Foundation, providing essential aid such as housing, sustenance, and medical supplies to those affected by the wildfires. In 2025, the LA County Wildfires impacting our neighbors in Altadena and the Pacific Palisades hit home. The wildfires were personal to us โ affecting the homes, lives, and livelihoods of those we knew and cherished. In response, we partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles to fundraise for the ReBUILD LAโข campaign. Our efforts included contributing the first $25,000 to the campaign, which aimed to provide long-term support to those displaced by the fires, including home rebuilding, relocation, essential supplies, and housing solutions. At the onset of the LA County wildfires, we teamed up with American Association for Justice (AAJ) โTrial Lawyers Careโ and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) to deliver supplies to first responders.Through these collaborations, we unite with local and legal communities to show support during times of crisis.
Our attorneys are also active in local youth sports programs like Little League Baseball, Jr. Lakers Basketball, Pop Warner Football, and AYSO Soccer, providing essential recreational opportunities for children and families. Our staffโs commitment to service extends to organizations such as the Inner City Law Center, North Hollywood Food Pantry, and American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Through our firmโs participation in charity golf tournaments and other fundraising efforts, we continue to show dedication to local causes. At Arias Sanguinetti, giving back is at the core of who we are.
