Notably, he served as co-liaison counsel in litigation against the University of Southern California and former campus gynecologist George Tyndall in Jane Doe v. University of Southern California, USC Engemann Student Health Center, Eric Cohen Student Health Center of USC, George Tyndall. It resulted in an $852 million settlement on behalf of 710 plaintiffs. This resolution stands as the largest sexual assault settlement in history and holds USC accountable for failing to investigate years of complaints about Tyndall’s misconduct at its Engemann Student Health Center. His role in this landmark case further strengthened his reputation as a leader in significant, precedent-setting litigation. He has also served in numerous leadership roles, including as past president of both the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC).
Managing Partner Elise Sanguinetti is widely regarded as one of the nation’s top trial lawyers. Her practice focuses on serious personal injury, wrongful death and complex civil litigation. She is a former president of both CAOC and the American Association for Justice (AAJ), where she was only the second woman from California to serve in that role.
