Mike Arias, managing partner at Arias Sanguinetti, was recognized as a 2023 Daily Journal Top 100 Lawyer in California.
Mr. Arias has several obtained eight and nine-figure verdicts and settlements in personal injury, employment, sexual assault, mass tort, and class action matters over four decades. He has litigated and tried matters throughout the United States in both state and federal court. He has also served as lead, co-lead, or liaison counsel in well over 100 class and mass tort/plaintiff actions, including actions against some of the largest corporations and institutions in the nation.
In addition, his service and continued leadership to the legal community and consumers throughout the state as plaintiff trial bar President for Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and CAOC (back-to-back) has impacted the law to help make California a safer, more equitable place to live. He is also a leader in the national trial lawyer organization, American Association for Justice (AAJ), and an elected member of the executive committee of AAJ which also helps California trial lawyers and consumers.
Numerous publications and peer organizations have recognized Mr. Arias as one of the top trial attorneys in the country. In 2022, he was named California Lawyer of the Year by the Daily Journal. He was named a CAOC Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2021. The Daily Journal has also honored him as one of the Top 30 Plaintiff Attorneys in California every year since 2018 as well as one of the Top 100 Attorneys in California in 2019, 2021 and 2022.

The National Law Journal honored Mr. Arias in 2020 as a Plaintiff Trailblazer and Lawdragon has recognized him as a Top 500 Plaintiff Attorney in the nation every year since 2019. He has also been a Super Lawyer every year since 2009 and a Best Lawyer every year since 2019.
