Over his career, Mr. Arias has been awarded the: Daily Journal’s Top 100 Attorneys in California and Top 30 Plaintiff Lawyers in California; LawDragon’s Top 500 National Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers; and National Law Journal’s Plaintiff Trailblazer.
He litigated and tried matters throughout the United States, in both state and federal court. He served as lead, co-lead and liaison counsel in well over 100 class and mass tort/plaintiff actions, including class actions against some of the largest corporations and institutions in the nation.

One of Mr. Arias’s most prominent roles throughout his career was being a co-liaison counsel for the plaintiffs in the University of Southern California/Dr. George Tyndall litigation which is the largest sexual abuse/ personal injury settlement against a university. He helped represent more than 700 women who were sexually abused and assaulted by the disgraced USC OB/GYN. He led the effort in obtaining a historic settlement for the victims amounting to $852 million.
