Ye Iris He is an associate at Arias, Sanguinetti, Wang & Torrijos LLP. and focuses her practice on complex litigation involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability. Prior to joining the law firm, Iris worked at a prominent Los Angeles law firm where she represented injured individuals and held individuals, business entities, and public entities accountable for their negligence.
Iris received her law degree and a certificate in Business Law from The Ohio State University, where she was the recipient of the Jones Day Law Firm scholarship. In addition to her legal education in the U.S., Iris obtained her civil law degree from Shanghai Normal University in China. Iris was the top student during her time in China and was selected to attend Ball State University in Indiana as an exchange student to study Political Science. While studying in Indiana, Iris externed for Honorable Alan Wilson (Ret.), a judge for the circuit court of Delaware County, Indiana, and former Muncie’s Mayor. She was admitted to the New York State bar in 2011 and the California State bar in 2013.
Outside of the courtroom, Iris is a virtuoso pianist with substantial stage performance experience. Although she was a prize winner of multiple piano competitions, she ultimately chose to pursue degrees in law in lieu of a full-time career in music. She also enjoys being outdoors, scuba diving, running, cycling and kayaking at the beach.
Iris is a native Mandarin and Shanghainese speaker.
